2.1.1 A water motor alarm shall be so designed that it can be readily installed and serviced without damage, using non-specialized tools.
Sub-assemblies intended to be assembled in the field shall be capable of being joined together without misalignment and without
requiring any of the parts to be drilled. welded, or otherwise altered except for a part required to he cut to length or threaded.
2.1.2 After ageing of its nonmetallic parts as described in Clauses 3.1 and 3.2. a water motor alarm shall show no cracking.
