ISO/IEC 19794-4:20110 pdf free download.lnformation technology — Biometric data interchange formats 一 Part 4: Finger image data.
The organization of the record fomiat is as follows:
• A single fixed-length (16-byte) general record header containing information about the overall record, including the number of
finger/palm wnages represented and the overall record length m bytes:
• A single linger record for each single finger, multi-finger, or palm image representation consisting of:
o A variable length finger image representation header containing information pertaining to the data for a single finger,
multi-finger. or palm image;
NOTE 1 For each quality block of information recorded, the length *l be increased by 5 bytes
NOTE 2 If any of the finger riage representations contain a device certification block, then the length of each finger
representation header shall be a minimum of a 42•byte header.
NOTE 3 For each device certification block ci information recorded the length *ill be increased by 3 bytes
A variable-length finger image representation body containing
• Compressed or uncompressed image data representation for a single, multi-linger, or palm inage: and
• Optional extended data describing linger segmentation (in the case of multi-finger images). annotation, and conirrienis.
Annex C provides an example of the application of this part of ISO/IEC 19794. It illustrates the completion of required data fields for both the general record header and the finger image record.
