3.4 Type and Size of Letters

Contrast shall be provided between coloi field and legend for wdahilitv. Use of letters of standard style.2 in sizes in. (13 mm)

and larger, recommended. See Table 3 for specific size recommendations. For ident iuication of materials in piping with an outside cover diameter lesi than in. (19 mm). and for valve and fitting identification, the use of a permanently legible tag is

recommended.

3.5 Unusual or Extreme Situations
